Shaving for Sight

Three of our brave WWHS employees are sacrificing their head and/or facial hair to help raise funds for our “See how we can help you see” fundraising campaign.

The service is currently raising funds for the purchase of equipment known as an IOL Master 700 (an optical biometer) that is used by our visiting Ophthalmologist Dr Mark Chehade to accurately measure and detect any problems with the eye.

Kirsten Nesbit, Associate Nurse Unit Manager at Iona, Jay Sreekumar, Social Worker and Ritchie Dodds, Chief Executive Officer are participating in the shave on Friday 4 September 2020.

We are seeking the generosity and support of our community members to get behind Kirsten, Jay and Ritchie. Donations, big and small, are greatly appreciated.
